About The Role

The Private Client team at HCR Law is renowned for its depth of knowledge, covering a wide range of services for high-net-worth individuals, families, and estates. With over 125 individuals across various specialisms, the team has become a cornerstone of HCR Law’s overall success. Many of our partners are highly recognised within the legal industry, with a strong presence in prestigious legal directories such as Chambers, The Legal 500, and the High Net Worth Guide.

HCR Law’s Worcester office, in particular, has seen significant growth and transformation in recent years. As part of the firm’s continued expansion, the Private Client practice in Worcester is poised for further growth, creating this exciting opportunity for a new Partner. The office's success is not just in numbers but in its strategic approach to providing personalised legal services that are both effective and client-centric. As a Partner, you will not only assist in leading a growing team but will also contribute to the firm’s strategic direction and long-term success. Your role will involve maintaining the highest standards of client service, while driving new business, nurturing valuable relationships, and ensuring the firm's financial targets are met. You will be recognized both internally and externally as a trusted advisor, contributing to the firm's ongoing reputation and success in the industry.

About You

 

As a Partner –  you will need to have:

  • Minimum PQE of 10 years or a Senior Associate ready for a Partner position
  • Technical expertise in your field
  • Supervisory responsibility for a team of junior lawyers
  • Understands the drivers of profitability in the Firm and have the ability to deliver a business plan in line with these
  • Ability to generate work for oneself and the team to meet annual billing target as agreed
  • Regulatory Law experience, both contentious and non-contentious
  • Willingness to commit to roles and responsibilities outside area of legal focus
  • Understands the 24/7 structure of service to clients and manages self and others to ensure service levels are not compromised
